Camp Quest West is committed to protecting the privacy of its website visitors, newsletter subscribers, volunteers, donors, and families.

For this document, “Correspondence” is defined as any official communication from Camp Quest West

Email Addresses

We periodically send a free, electronic newsletter to our entire subscription database. Anyone may opt-out of this mailing at any time either by contacting us or by clicking on the unsubscribe link on the bottom of any newsletter.

Subscribers are automatically added to our subscription database by any of the following methods:

In addition to electronic newsletters, we may send emails to those in our database for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to donation solicitation, registration details or notices, and volunteering requests.

Those who have registered for camp can expect a variety of emails regarding their registration. Likewise for those who have volunteered.

Sharing Your Information

Camp Quest West will never sell or rent any of your contact information to any organization.

We may, from time to time, correspond with you via email or post about a third-party event or notice that we think you’ll be interested in — such as an event in your area that Camp Quest West is participating in.

We plan to give our contacts a method to opt-out of this correspondence in the near future.


Emails, postal correspondence, and our Social Networking accounts may contain advertising, and such advertising may be “targeted” based on demographic information, e-mail domains, or zip codes. Such targeting is done through processes internal to Camp Quest West, and information from subscribers is not made available to advertisers.

Usernames and Passwords

Those connected to Camp Quest West may have a username and password to access information such as registration details or prior donations.

Passwords are the private property of the account holder. For reasons of security and privacy,  we do not give out usernames or passwords to anyone but the primary contact on file. If you forget your username or password, you can contact us via phone to request it.

Camp Quest West collects financial, health, and other personal information that is submitted by its contacts such as parents, donors, and health professionals.

This information is stored in the most strictest of confidence, and uses a variety of measures to keep unprivileged individuals from accessing that data. This data will never be sold, rented, or provided to any other organization, except when absolutely necessary such as:

  • to process a credit card payment or similar transaction
  • to provide medical attention or other emergency services
