2024 Camps
Camp Omni blends world-class science and critical thinking with the traditional, all-American outdoor camp experience to create a community based on our shared values.
In 2024, we’ll be offering two week-long sessions across two California locations!
All sessions are sleep-away experiences for children aged 8-17. Those between ages 15-17 will be a part of our Leadership Track.
Cabin groups are assigned based on age and/or gender selection. By default, campers are put in a gender-inclusive cabin, but you can select a gender-segregated cabin (girls only or boys only) if preferred at registration time. We default to gender-inclusive cabins in order to create an inclusive environment that reflects our values as a community.
Please note that we will be implementing straightforward precautions to reduce potential spread of infectious disease within our camp population, including requiring vaccination against COVID-19 from all camp attendees.
Northern California: Nevada City
Our Northern California sessions will be held at Camp Ross Relles near Nevada City, California. We have a one-week session, from June 23 to June 29, 2024.
This 228 acre camp sits in the Sierra foothills, next door to Malakoff Diggins State Historical Park where canoeing takes place. Its 12 cabins sleep 10 each. The ’40s-style wood-paneled Main Lodge, which seats 80, features a built-in fireplace, adjoining kitchen facilities, and spacious outdoor decks. Cooking will be done by Chef to Go catering. We provide the fun!
The 30-year old camp has a nice swimming facility, as well as basketball, baseball, tennis, archery and outdoor meeting venues. The site also boasts two sets of group shower and lavatory facilities, a camp office, and a deck and barbeque area. Camp Ross Relles is ADA-compliant, with manageable walkways, trails, rest rooms, bathhouses and cabins.

Southern California: Angelus Oaks
Camp Omni’s Southern California location will be held at Camp Marcil at Camp Round Meadow, an ideal Southern California getaway nestled in the scenic town of Angelus Oaks, just along Highway 38 on the route to Big Bear Lake. Conveniently located a mere 2 hours from Los Angeles, YMCA Camp Marcil stands as a premier camp facility offering a diverse range of accommodations for various groups. We have a single one-week session from July 7 to 13, 2024.
Camp Marcil offers an opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty surrounding the camp while enjoying an array of exciting activities. Dive into the refreshing swimming facility or test your skills at archery, climbing wall, basketball, gaga pit, high and low ropes courses, and the exhilarating double zip line. Cooking will be done by Camp Marcil staff. We provide the fun!
